Depending on how you use our website and services, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Billing and delivery addresses.
  • Order details and payment confirmation. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by THRUU LOVE.
  • Messages, enquiries or reviews you choose to submit.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and essential website data.

2. How we use your data

We may use your personal data to:

  • Process, fulfil and deliver your orders.

  • Meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

3. Legal grounds for processing

Under UK data protection law, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Contract: where processing is necessary to fulfil your order or provide a service you requested.
  • Consent: for optional marketing communications or non-essential cookies where applicable.
  • Legitimate interests: for activities such as improving the site, keeping it secure and preventing fraud, where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep records or process information to comply with the law.

4. Service providers

We may share the minimum personal data necessary with trusted service providers that help us operate our business. These may include:

  • Stripe for payment processing when checkout is enabled.

We require service providers to handle personal data appropriately and only for the purposes for which it is shared.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Order and transaction records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.

6. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Ask us to delete your personal data where applicable.

7. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic functionality and security.

If we introduce optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will provide an appropriate cookie consent mechanism before those cookies are set, where required.

Current site setup: this wording is intentionally aligned with the new THRUU LOVE site and does not claim that Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook tracking or other optional marketing tools are active unless we actually enable them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services or legal requirements. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated effective date.
